CNN’s Carol Costello was less than happy after Donald Trump again tweeted calling Fox host Megyn Kelly a bimbo, pressing one of his supporters why he did so when he supposedly “cherishes women.”
“Trump often says he ‘cherishes women…’” Costello pointed out to Trump fan Jeffrey Lord. “But make no mistake, he’s calling Megyn Kelly a bimbo. Why go there?”
“What he’s really demonstrating here is the whole political correctness argument,” he replied. Lord pointed out that when Kelly and Trump battled over his anti-woman comments in the first Fox debate, the audience cheered Trump.
