Ghanian Dance hall artiste, Shatta Wale made several comments in which he challenged Wizkid and claimed that he does not see Wiz as a superstar. The action of the Ghanaian star caused Nigerians to troll him on social media.
Following the backlash that ensued his comments, the dance hall artiste has reacted with several social media posts in which he mocked Nigerians. His latest reaction is captured in a video that surfaced on the internet. In the video, the singer hurled more insults at the Starboy and the Nigerian music industry, while also mocking Nigerians with the claim that the Nigerian President is always travelling and never found on duty.
From the video, it can be deduced that Shatta Wale appears to be calling for respect for the Ghanaian artistes. His comments suggests that he is advocating for Ghanaian artistes to be accorded the same level of respect as Nigerian music stars like Wizkid, but Shatta Wale’s approach comes off as offensive and it is expected to rile up Nigerian fans especially.
