Chelsea striker Radamel Falcao has revealed his frustration at a lack of playing time and believes his lack of game time is to blame for his poor form, not injuries.

The Colombia international moved to Stamford Bridge on loan in the summer after spending a season with Manchester United and scoring just four times.

However, Falcao has suffered similar disappointment with the Blues, managing just one goal in 11 appearances for the champions but has bemoaned his lack of playing time. 

"I have recovered from my knee injury," he toldSemana. "The problem is since then I have not had the chance to play a whole season to get back my confidence and become competitive again. 

"If I had had that regular football, you would not be saying this right now.r
