Great Ice Show opens at The Forks in Winnipeg- Day media

Forty Chinese sculptors carved more than 1,000 blocks of ice into buildings and monuments that make up a crystal city. 

Today the restaurant and bar in the ice show will open. Clowns, fireworks, magicians and music will mark the opening weekend on Saturday.

The show is open Sunday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to midnight.
Zhao hopes the show will run until the end of February, but it depends on the weather.
