OPPORTUNITY OFFERED: Photo Contest
BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The Storried Monthly Visual Storytelling Competition [#SMVSC] is a follow up to the Storried Monthly Competition [#SMC] because we recognize that stories can be told visually as is commonly said that “A picture is worth a thousand words.” Moreover, it has been proven scientifically that as humans we are visual animals because we are 83% visual learners. According to NewsCred Visual Virality Infographics, as humans, we qualify to be called visual learners because of these three reasons:
1. People only remember 10% of what they hear.
2. People only remember 20% of what they read, and
3. People only remember 80% of what they see and do.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
1. Amateur photographers & other photo enthusiasts
2. Students in educational institutions and those who are under any form of photography training
3. For anyone aged 18 and under
