Geneva, Switzerland (CNN)As Syria reeled from an attack that killed dozens, warring sides of the nation's gruesome war are meeting in Geneva in hopes of ending the bloodshed.
But they're not meeting directly with one another.
Instead, a U.N. special envoy is trying to find common ground between the parties before more people are killed.
ISIS claimed responsibility for the Sunday triple bombing near a suburb in Damascus.
The same day, special envoy Staffan de Mistura met with members of the main Syrian opposition group, called the High Negotiations Committee.
