iMapp Bucharest Videomapping Competition — one of the biggest videomapping events in the world — is calling for entries, for 2016.
International artists are invited to create 4 minute and 30 seconds long video-mapped animations
to the theme of “Dialogues” adapted to the façade of Palace of Parliament, Bucharest, Romania; in harmony with the architecture, and accompanied by music. The animations will be projected on 24th September 2016, in front of a jury and a live audience.
Six (6) artists will be selected for participation in the live competition in September and each artist will be provided with financial support of 14,000 Euro, for the production of the accepted work. A Jury and an Audience award of 5,000 Euro each, will also be awarded.
This year, iMapp is all about interactions and dialogues. The show is imagined as a brilliant conversation between the Palace of Parliament and the tens of thousands of people in front of it. Deep and meaningful images will build up a powerful connection between artists and the public.
The competition is open to all natural and legal personsregardless of their profession, age, sex, citizenship or residence. Entry is possible either individually or as a team.
It's free to enter.
