NIGERIA 2016 SIGMA ESSAY COMPETITION FOR NIGERIAN STUDENTS

2016 SIGMA ESSAY COMPETITION FOR NIGERIAN STUDENTS

The concern of this maiden edition hinges on the growing attraction of the world outside formal education to young Nigerians. In the past few years, social commentators have substantially discussed and written about how formal education in Nigeria has become excessively unattractive to our youths in terms of quality and process; how grossly inadequate, the attention government at all levels is paying to this anomaly and how social and non-educational activities are at the core of corporate fascination.
Sigma Club, as a nation and youth oriented organisation hereby joins in amplifying this concern and with the understanding that ‘Street’ is in this context metaphorical, equally invite eligible young people  to join the discussion by sending in their entry on the below topic.
